Well done to everyone who took part in the Talent Show 2008 on Saturday 29th November. The evening was a great success, with all the acts producing fantastic pieces of such a high standard that Nikki found it so hard to decide on a winner. Nikki Harris was a wonderful judge for the night, giving positive and constructive comments to the performers. It was also great to see many spectators, supporting the acts and generally having a great night out !
The results for Talent Show were:
1st place went to Carolyn Arnold and Michelle for their fantastic Rumba and American Smooth, with some amazing lifts!
2nd place was Luise Harrison and Natasha with their fast, bouncy Jive.
3rd place went to Selina Winestein and Keith Munden for their Salsa.
4th place was Joshua Butcher and Michelle for another fast and fabulous Jive.
5th place went to Shannon Mallard and Nick Sadowsky for their Waltz and Cha Cha Cha mix.
6th place was a tie between Marion Barron and Michelle with their Samba and Cloe Arnold, Victoria Athey, Lauren Barclay, Charlotte Jones and Chelsé
Newland with their group dance of a Hip Hop and a Cha Cha Cha.
Finally 7th place went to Victoria Athey and Chelsé Newland for their contemporary performance.
Lastly the evening was a great opportunity for the medal presentation to the pupils who took their exams in October. In addition the Highest Mark Adult award went to Carolyn Arnold and the Junior Award went to Joshua Butcher. Plus the Adult achievement award went to Helen Fellowes.
